Training for 2008

2008 Spring Seminar Announced

FORENSIC FIRE SCENE RECONSTRUCTION

At the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport 1739 West Nursery Road Baltimore (Linthicum), Maryland

This 3-day Forensic Fire Scene Reconstruction Seminar is an excellent opportunity to learn and review the up-to-date scientific approach to analyzing a fire scene and reconstructing it to determine how the fire developed through basic fire dynamics and fire pattern analysis. Dynamic speakers and authors Dr. JOHN DeHAAN and Dr. DAVID ICOVE apply engineering principles and practice to assessing and investigating the impact of fires.

This concept is essential for comprehensive and accurate fire scene investigation and will provide:

...Accurate and defensible science based reconstruction of fire scenes

..Interpretation of scene fire patterns using basic concepts of fire dynamics

..Analysis and hypothesis support through systematic data and documentation collection approach

..Advanced computer fire modeling application use and limits

..Hands-on examination of fuel materials

Presented By: International Association of Arson Investigators and the Maryland Fire and Explosive Investigator's Chapter of IAAI
