Scott Hoglander has been a career member of the Prince George's County Fire Department for 13 years. He currently is assigned to the Fire Investigations unit as a Fire Captain responsible for the day-to-day operations of this office. In addition, Captain Hoglander serves as the accelerant detection canine handler for the Prince George's County Fire Department. He and his partner "Misty" have been in service since May of 1999. Captain Hoglander is also certified through the National and Maryland Professional Qualifications Board as a Fire Officer IV, Fire Instructor III, Fire Inspector III, and Fire Investigator. He was just recently appointed to a second term on the Maryland Fire Prevention Commission.
